COURSE DETAILS

This course equips learners with developing a personal understanding of the effects of stress, it provides the initial, humane, and practical support to those experiencing distress after a crisis, disaster, loss, traumatic event, and grief in others, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection. The course uses primarily case–based learning and includes the latest evidence from the international community.

Psychological First Aid serves as one of the basic tools used in Crisis counselors’ responding to an emergency or disaster. PFA does not require previous training or education as a behavioral health practitioner. Everyone can be trained.

Duration: Four hours – Half day.

Cost: $500.00

Certification: Valid for 2 years
